To get a little more in the mood for spring (in the middle of yet another cold snap) I thought I should share an easy transition look- and by transition, I mean neckwear transition (waaaay too cold to change my legwear!) … Easy enough, right??
Let’s get to it!
I received this tunic from Jenilee’s Chic Boutique. Jenilee is a sweet girl who runs her own boutique on Facebook- you should check her out!
I knew this little number would be perfect as a transition piece; from winter to spring and even spring to summer (as a beach coverup). The fabric belt can be worn wrapped as I wore it, or pulled and tied in a bow in the back- also a super cute girly way to style it (I probably should’ve done that… Hmmm.. Maybe next time!)
Here is my “Winter” look:
When you think of winter you may think of fur. Faux fur, of course… It’s super warm for polar vortex days and seems to be all the rage this season.
The green color of the tunic is also nice for this time of year.. It can even be worn around the holidays! Emerald green is one of my favorite colors to wear.
Fleece leggings are also a must when keeping warm! I feel like mine have been on repeat this winter! I can’t help it, I just want to stay warm!
And my “Spring” look:
When I put this outfit together I kept thinking of flowers. Emerald green and pastel lime green- can you get more spring-y than that!?
The necklace is also from Jenilee’s Chic Boutique. I was so surprised to see it in my package! I love it! It’s more of an update on last season’s bauble necklaces (which I still love).
This outfit would be more for early spring, when there is still a chill in the air- but it can also be worn with opaque tights and flats, or glittery heels for a more formal event.
