Newbies- J.Crew Factory Gigi Pant review

I ordered the J.crew Factory Gigi pant after a co-worker got them and raved about them. When I first received them and tried them on, they were not what I was expecting, they were stiff and long on me – I’m 5’3″ and a petite or short version is not offered at Factory.

I was not sure that I wanted to keep them, but I wound up keeping them just because I had heard such great stuff about them and the J.Crew Pixie pant (which are pretty much the exact same pant- just different zipper placement, and they offer petite and tall sizing) and I wanted to give them a chance. I got them on sale- they came out to $41-ish.

I’m wearing them for the first time today and so far they are SO comfy! They do not feel as stiff, maybe I got over that feeling and was expecting it this time around. For reference, I got a 00, they are slightly tight in the waist, but looser in the hip (since I have no hips). Overall I am quite pleased with the fit.

They’re also SUPER warm! If you haven’t noticed, we got dumped on with snow and my thermometer reads 11 degrees as I write this. I wouldn’t recommend walking long distances with these pants, but they’ll do for door to door walking and I’m sure they’ll be perfect for the warmer (40-50 degree) weather! They rival my fleece lined leggings, except they can be worn as a more dressy pant.

Overall, yes I would recommend them !!

I also got this scarf at Old Navy on Monday. I’ve been wanting a neutral printed scarf that can be worn all year, and when I saw this it definitely fit the bill- the fact that the whole store was 40% off may have pushed me to get it even more. Unfortunately I do not see it online but I’m assuming its a new arrival so it should still be in store!

I have SO many outfit ideas for this little scarf! 🙂

Thanks for stopping by!
