NAIL TIP: (no pun intended)
I did my nails and I came across a tip on how to dry them faster. I don’t know about you guys, but no matter how early I paint them and no matter how late I go to bed, I always wake up the next morning with marks on my nails. This fast drying tip involves sticking your fingers in ice water for a whole minute- can I tell you, it’s the longest 60 seconds ever- but I must say… It actually works!
All you need is a bowl, ice cubes, and cold water (I used half a tray of ice cubes)
I gave my nails an ice bath after each coat, but not right after I apply the paint. I wait until they’re mostly dry (which, in my case, doesn’t take too long) and I test them but rubbing my nails together. If they still feel a little (very little usually) tacky then I wait a few minutes before applying the next coat. Once I’ve finished painting them I soak them 2-3 more times about 30 minutes apart – just to be sure they’re really dry. By that time my ice water is all but water. Hope this tip helps!
